Principal
Mr. Torres
I have been an administrator in Wasco for eleven years. This is my second year as the principal of Karl F. Clemens School. I would like to say that having been given the opportunity to serve as the principal of Clemens has, by far, been the most rewarding assignment of my career.
As a resident of Wasco, my excitement continues to grow each day that I am given the opportunity to serve our students, staff, and parents. I have found that being a Wildcat is a privilege earned. Our school culture puts students first, is student-focused, and our staff works hand-in-hand to make this school the best learning environment for all.
With many new students and families at our school this year, I want to let you know that over the past year I have watched as our teachers have taken a personal interest in our students and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that they are providing for all the needs of their students. In this way it has set the tone for high-impact learning that happens in the classroom. Our teachers and support staff are here with one goal in mind—student success.
Whether your student is new to our school, or one of our many returning students, I would like to invite you to come, be a part of our school culture by attending our council meetings, participating in our parent workshops, and volunteering in our classrooms. Together, we are making a difference—one student at a time.
We are Wildcats for life!
